The RD960 is a cutting-edge biometric palm scanner that combines palmprint and palmar vein recognition for unparalleled authentication accuracy. Unlike traditional fingerprint access control systems that are susceptible to spoofing, the RD960 leverages liveness detection and near-infrared imaging to capture unique subcutaneous vascular patterns — internal biometric features that are impossible to steal, replicate, or counterfeit. With a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of < 0.0000001% and False Rejection Rate (FRR) of < 0.01%, this palm vein biometric device delivers enterprise-grade security for access control systems, payment processing, attendance management, and government identity verification applications. The module supports 1:1 and 1:N comparison modes, stores up to 1,000 users locally (8,000 optional), and operates in temperatures from -20°C to 75°C — making it ideal for contactless biometric authentication in demanding environments.
