Built with Rakinda's proprietary decode algorithm, the R3 delivers robust decoding performance on printed labels, screen-displayed codes, and low-contrast markings. Available in five focal lengths — 6 mm, 8 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, and 25 mm — the scanner accommodates a wide range of working distances and field-of-view requirements. At a 1000 mm working distance with the 6 mm lens model (R3-06W), the horizontal field of view reaches 1010 mm, while the 25 mm lens model (R3-25W) narrows to just 225 mm for high-density code reading on smaller components.
The device features 12 built-in LED illumination lamps and 2 aiming LED lamps for precise code targeting during installation and operation. Multiple I/O interfaces support flexible integration with PLCs and control systems. Status indicators on the device provide real-time feedback on device status and code reading results, simplifying commissioning and troubleshooting.
