Germany semiconductor factory Infineon, points out that in order to further strengthen the airport personnel entrance guard control system, South Korea airport management communes (KAC) has started using CIPURSETM standards new solutions, which is based on the three airports adopting the new system.The airport also will be using another new type of barcode scanning technology.

Infineon, points out that South Korea’s new airport entrance card is using the SLS 32 tlc100 CIPURSE security chip, which passed the Common CriteriaEAL5 certification.The chip transmission rate is better than the industry standard average reading time of 0.2 seconds, so users can achieve the fast, easy and stable way to enter the workplace.

Infineon, also said security chip put the user’s personal information securely store it to pass in and out in the specific area of the airport.The staff just put the card to touch the non-contact card reader of door or gates. Before open entrance guard system, Korea airport also will be the second step of biometric authentication.

In the same way, KAC, the Korean airport management agency, also recognized barcode scanner for the access control systems.

When officials at the south Korean airport forget to carry the access card, they can access a specific area of the airport through the screen barcode of their mobile phone. Just aim the qr code of the phone’s screen on the bar code scanning window, and then the gate can be opened after verification. The user takes out the phone from his pocket, and then opens the verification barcodes from the phone APP software, finally, the gate opens it. The whole process takes less than five seconds.
